• UIM Mandate is to act as the data custodian for all sub-surface and surface data across the ADNOC Group.
• Manage information and operate upstream databases for the ADNOC Group
• Provide Geomatic services including GIS and cartography to the ADNOC Group.
The strategic goal of the UIM is to have in place rules, procedures and processes that guarantee a proper preservation/availability of all petro-technical data generated by the ADNOC group of Companies during their Exploration & Production activities

Database and Application Support aims to support all ADNOC E&P activities and requirements to provide higher that expected services in delivering these data, information and knowledge to the user community.
Geomatics Team comprises one of the three units of Upstream Information Management (UIM) Department, ADNOC Exploration Division. A lot of oil/gas exploration tasks require good awareness, knowledge and application of geo-spatial information. Some prime examples include designing of seismic surveys, surface positioning of new wells or location of existing wells, awareness of existing pipelines and facilities, environmentally sensitive areas, shipping routes, water depth, and much more. Geomatics Team possesses geo-spatial domain knowledge and contributes to all phases of ADNOC exploration activities that require geographic information.

The objectives of our Centre is to consolidate and manage all types of Exploration and Production technical data and provide services to clients through strict data management processes and workflows.
